Agréa stems from Agréable – since both privacy and sustainability require collaboration, why not approach tasks like this will be fun?
The Purpose of Agréa Privacy and Sustainability Communications is to empower organizations to strengthen business practices, stakeholder confidence, and customer trust. My mission is to raise awareness and coach people on how to embed trust into operations and enhance awareness so best practices are automatic and not an afterthought.
Both Privacy and Sustainability are key areas requiring collaborative engagement and communications. Both indicate operating in a responsible manner. Both enhance an organization’s reputation. At the same time, negative headlines on either front can seriously harm an organization’s reputaton.
Effective stakeholder engagement, responding to expectations, and staying abreast of regulatory developments is critical. Ultimately, it is someone who can effectively communicate the value, how to take action, and how to feel empowered and personally fulfilled by contributing towards an optimal outcome.
Both Privacy and Sustainability can add to or subtract from every department’s work, be engaging to staff, and fun! But how? Agréa has solid in-house and consulting experience and works with a wide network of partners as needed.
Agréa can be your trusted partner to support you in establishing best practices and foster resiliency of your business. Demonstrating you care about privacy and sustainability can inspire trust from all of your stakeholders: employees, customers, investors, regulators, business partners, and civil society. Actions in these areas are an opportunity for your firm to not only comply, but shine!

My Background
I’ve been fortunate to have had exposure to practically every kind of working environment around the world. I have had experience with some amazing Fortune 500 firms, from building privacy programs from the ground up to leading privacy and sustainability / Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) task forces that positively impacted reputation and trust.
I have also worked in-house and/or advised clients in other settings, including: a US multi-location retail fine art publishing company, a Polish printing plant undergoing modernisation, a Belgian investor group, a global business association that was formerly a UN initiative, a Silicon Valley software UX firm, international investors in small healthcare and resort organisations.
In all scenarios, the common denominator was generating trust from stakeholders to be receptive, implement actions, and continue with best practices. We see the terms ‘cross-functional teamwork’ and recognise the value. It takes a collaborative approach to progress and yield results.
From an internal perspective - I’ve worked directly with product managers, software coders, executives who needed updates about risks and remediation; internally focused and technical.
From an external perspective - I’ve worked directly with C-suite executives, regulators, investors, media, and NGOs, spoken at last minute press-conferences, moderated panels, negotiated with labor union leaders, and issued a plan of action during an earthquake.
The common denominator? Seeing how to achieve the desired end result and inspiring people to collaborate and produce. Privacy and ESG and Sustainability are similar to staying fit....it has to be a way of living, mindfulness everyday, a commitment to strength and resilience and the foundation of a sustainable business.
